the Stockholm Seminar





Tenjin Visual went to the Stockholm Seminar. The symposium lasted for two days, during which architects from Europe, the US and China gave lectures to present their thoughts, projects and completed works.

Tenjin Visual visited the Woodfusion 2008, in Göteborg. Listening to speakers like the Swedish architect Gert Wingårdh, the Finnish industrial designer Ville Kokkonen, and the American designer Ken Olling, talking about how they work with and develop new materials.

Rendering challenge

This time I'm aiming for the SSS shaders in mental ray. The scene is from the old Jeremy Birn Lighting Challenge at CGtalk. Modelled by Dan Wade. The light rig is set up with some different color temperatures. Next step is to start with the materials and textures...
